In Dilijan, one of the potential hallmarks of Armenia, the 470th anniversary of foundation was a gala-celebration. People of Dilijan, all of them, were on squares and parks to express their great love for their home-town. They presented hand-made pieces, served treatment, the housewives offered the home-made cake.
Dilijan symbol, pentagon star was depicted on everything. A red tape was cut on this day in inauguration of the totally renovated musical school.
The building with no renovation for 35 was modified with the support by community, Dilijan Development Foundation and “Counterpart” international organization. Armen Gevorgyan, the vice PM and Armenia’s Territorial Administration Minister said he was sure the recent projects realized in resort town of Dilijan will present it to the world from newer aspects.
The festivity was resumed late at night with gala-concert and firework.
